Tip on how to walk safely on the street of Johannesburg
Johannesburg South Africa is well known for its high crime rate, while your walking on the street of Johannesburg don’t loose yourself be aware of your environments.
The city of Johannesburg is beautiful and the streets are well organized, pave road and your going to see beautiful cars and women, But is not as safe as it seem. To avoid getting pick pocket, getting rob at gunpoint or being strangled follow these tips and non of these will happen to you!
1.Watch your back
Don’t get carried away while on the street of Johannesburg, turn around frequently and see who is walking behind you, don’t allow people walk too close behind you, watch over your shoulder let the person walking behind you know that your aware that he or she is behind you, don’t let them strangle you unaware
2. walk on the road not the pavement
If your not familiar with the environment where you are it is wise to walk on the road and avoid the pavement and don’t put your phone in a shallow pocket, avoid body contact with people on the street, since that’s how you get pick pocket.
3. Hold your bag
when your on the street especially where their are many people hold your bag well, you don’t know who is going to try to open your bag from behind.
4. Don’t get drunk while on the street
It will be a huge mistake walking on the street of Johannesburg while your drunk you could easily get rob that way. Many of the street kids are out looking out for any body who is drunk to rob!
